Oklahoma Announces Overall Tour Player of the Year Program

Oklahoma Tour Player of the Year and Senior Tour Player of the Year Awards Announced!

Scott R. Chilcutt, Edmond, OK (April 13, 2010) In addition to Flight Champion Player of the Year Awards, Labor Finders and The RealEstate Place have stepped up support of the Oklahoma Tour and challenged each of the tour members to step up your game and win the Player of the Year awards.


Oklahoma Tour Player of the Year, presented by Labor Finders and Oklahoma Senior Tour Player of the Year, presented by The RealEstate Place are yearend prizes designed to award the most consistent players on the tour. Custom designed embroidered golf bags will be awarded at the Tour Championship.

Eligibility - Players must be active, in good standing members of the Golf Channel Am Tour at the conclusion of the Tour Championship on August 28th, 2010. Senior Members must have turned 50 years old by 12/31/2009.

Qualification – Members must compete in a minimum of six of the Oklahoma Tours’ twelve events. The Fianna Hills, while jointly marketed, was officially an Arkansas event. Although your points for that event count towards year end Callaway Merit Points, those finishes are not part of these awards.

Points – Each player is awarded points based upon their finish placement at the end of an event plus a one point bonus for the Tournament Champion. Only the TOP SIX of each player’s finishes will contribute to the total award tally, allowing players that have had poor finishes throughout the year to continue to compete for the year end awards.
